Looking Ahead to Week 17
NFL Picks | by Mike O'Hara | 12.21.2008/9:25PM
Five quick picks for Week 17 – before the lines come out:
Broncos at Chargers: Which team do I like for Sunday night on NBC? Neither. But home field carries the Chargers to the AFC West title at 8-8. And they get a home game in the first round – while at least two teams with nine or more wins stays home for the posteason.
Lions at Packers: So many good games in the final week, but every fan will have one eye on Lambeau Field to see if the Leos go 0-16. Take the Pack.
Dolphins at Jets: It could be sweet revenge for former Jets QB Chad Pennington if he beats the Jets on what used to be his home field. Wait to see what the weatherman brings.
Cowboys at Eagles: A win for the Eagles gives them a half-game edge over the Cowboys – the most over-hyped, under-performing franchise in the world.
Giants at Vikings: A Vikings win clinches the NFC North, no matter what the Bears do in their last two.
