Media Rare: Ortiz Added to U-M Hoops-casts

A change by WWJ-950 in its broadcasts of Michigan basketball games has put long-time announcer Tony Ortiz behind the microphone for pre-game and post—game shows.
Sources close to WWJ confirmed the move on Friday.
Ortiz replaces Jeff Lesson.
Ortiz is best known locally for his work on Lions broadcasts.

What’s left for Jeff Lesson?
WWJ has cut him out of practically everything that they do. I haven’t heard him on the air for a looong time. It’s too bad, too.
I enjoyed Lesson On Golf along with his other stints.
